Useful Info

We bought our little cottage in January 2018 after falling in love with St Ives many years ago.  As couple we took our first holiday here, following a picture my grandparents had on their living room wall.  Having started life as a Fishermans cottage, the kitchen was originally a net store- hence the quirky two front doors.  We lovingly renovated it from top to bottom over a 14 month period, adding some personal touches created by ourselves.  We hope you enjoy Porthole Cottage as much as we do!

Here are a few answers to commonly asked questions…

Porthole Cottage, 10 Baileys Lane, St Ives, TR26 1LN

Bailey’s Lane is a pedestrian-only lane and is accessed off the end of Fore Street – the Post Office is on the corner.  If offloading by car then we would suggest using Porthmeor Square, which is at the top of Baileys Lane.
